New new new- but really... old old old

So I found this vintage doily shirt (as I call it) in my mothers closet. She never wears it, so I snuck it out and made use of it. I also found this vintage sheepskin coat (don't judge me on animal skin usage) and patterned skirt. Woot.

Easter time

So it's Easter. And what's the most adorable holiday of the year without a few pastels? I recently went to the beautiful city of New York, where there is an abundance of inspiration, and came back with a brain full of new ideas. In honour of my trip to New York, I added a little tribute at the bottom of this post. Now I actually understand all those t-shirts: I <3 New York! Happy Easter everyone!

Everyone, please let me introduce, Neo <3

i'm the girl with stars in her eyes

So, had another lesson today, so I spent the afternoon in Steveson village again. I found a ton of stuff today, and only ended up spending all of maybe... $14? Enjoy the pictures- I love the things I find here!!

For some reason, that made me laugh REALLY, hard.

 Steveson Museum

Steveson Seafood House (all fresh seafood, as the ocean is literally 2 blocks in the other direction)

So, this one thrift store in Steveson is in a run down little church. I found a button basket! I'd never noticed it before, but when I did, I flipped out. I collect buttons (vintage ones), so I picked out a few that I knew we're legit vintage. Observe.

So, the ones on top (pink and white) are made of milk glass. They have these tiny little pink teddy bears HAND-PAINTED on them! Bottom right are turquoise set in some metal that looks like, but definately isn't, gold. Then the bottom left are just plastic, look like opal and gold. These next few shots are of my current button collection, and where I keep it :)

I found this book at the second-hand store, and though it looked pretty funny, so for 50 cents, how could I say no? It's a great conversation piece. You may ask, "Do you have any intentions on reading this book?" I shall answer your question with a question of my own: "Do you really think I don't have a life?"

Found these vintage shorts in a vintage store, on sale from $30. Got em for $8 :D

Found this sweater at the thrift store- SO HAPPY WITH IT!! Love love love.

I also found this MASSIVE scarf. So soft. So bright. So long. I'm in love.
